Pastor Frymier has been the senior pastor at Calvary Baptist Church since May 2016. He spent nearly 23 years on active duty in the United States Air Force, before God led him into full-time ministry. He served as an associate pastor in Tucson before being called as the Pastor of Calvary Baptist Church. He and his wife, Katie, were married in 1991. They have three children: Twins, Abbie and Brooke, live in the Tucson area and their youngest daughter, Isabella, lives at home.
Brian’s Salvation: When I was ten years old I realized for the first time that I was a sinner. I knew that I needed to be saved. Late one night I asked my mother if she could show me how to be saved. She took her Bible and showed me how Christ paid my sin debt on the cross and rose three days later. I asked Christ to save me and I have never been the same since.
Call to ministry: After I got saved I found myself doing everything I could do at my church, I served as much as they would let me. When I was fourteen years old our church went to a Christian summer Camp. All that week God was dealing with my heart about serving Him in the ministry full time. On Thursday night, I surrendered my life to God’s call into the ministry and I had a great peace knowing that was exactly what God wanted me to do.
Call to Montana: While attending Crown College in Powell, TN. I had the great opportunity to travel to the North West Region of the United States. While on that trip, the Lord burdened my heart for the North West. After College I Married my wife and we began our ministry at Pine Bluff Baptist Church in Albany, Georgia. We met Pastor Phillip Brown on a Sunday evening while he was on deputation. Shortly after meeting Pastor Brown I knew that God wanted me in the North West. I spoke with him about coming to help here in the ministry and God through very miraculous ways confirmed our call to be here in Bozeman, MT at Calvary Baptist.
Darla: I grew up in a Christian home that faithfully attended and served in their local Baptist Church. At the age of eleven the Lord began to convict my heart of my need of a savior from my sins. One evening after family devotions I went to my parents and they led me to the Lord and Christ saved my soul.
Shortly after I was saved, I felt the Lord was calling me to full time Christian service. After high school I attended Crown College in Powel, TN where the Lord allowed me to meet my husband. We married shortly after we graduated.
